Sending Love to Myself this Valentine's Day💖

The 14th of February or Valentine's day as it's known is celebrated by many around the globe. Apparently, it all began in France where the first-ever Valentine's Day card is believed to have originated. In 1415, Charles, the Duke of Orleans sent love letters to his wife from prison, sparking the tradition of expressing love through written notes. Thanks for that Charles!

Personally, I don't buy into the hype but I do love flowers and gifts, what human doesn't!

So in the dulcet tones of Miley I sing to myself "I can buy myself flowers" ..on any day of the week and probably for half the price!

The last time I got a Valentine's card was when I was in school and the dog actually ate most of it so I couldn't even read the inside. Sigh.

This Valentine's day I will be celebrating loving myself more. Sounds like such a simple and natural thing to do but, it's a journey or at least it can be for some. So, as I heart anything that has a heart printed on it I thought it would be fun to collate some of my favourites and share them with you on this day. Maybe you will heart something on there and buy it for yourself. I hope you do and it makes you happy.
